Let us talk about the "Heart of Sabik"

I feel like over the years it has become a forgotten detail throughout the story so far, but has there been any clues on what exactly this relic is?

I'm definitely curious as to what it is, especially in light of all we've learned so far in Shadowbringers. SE has generally been pretty good about picking up loose threads later, so I do hope we'll eventually find out more.

I'd be surprised if they revisit it. I mean, it failed to serve its purpose, so what would be the point? Lala-boy never made mention of it again afterward, and he's been gone for a long time; with him, whatever plans he may have had for it, if any. Wouldn't say no to them bringing it back (maybe even Lala, somehow), but yeah, don't see it happening.

It wasn't really forgotten; it does get a mention in the Ultimate fight.


Canonically, it presumably was just destroyed along with the Ultima Weapon.

It's a relic that vores primals and turns them into ultima fuel, that's about it. I'm willing to bet it's what Gaius has been using to kill ascians.

The relic is related to Zodiark, I bet it's not the last we see it as Zodiark is literally Ascian's primal.

Oh yes, Sabik is a star in the constellation Serpentarius which Zodiark is based on.
