Any FC That Is Chill?

For more details. I am not really that talkative and it's hard for me to make or be there for events. Also I will unsubscribe probably months at a time due to trying not to get burned out and also save my money for the next expansion. So does any of you guys know of any FC that is understanding?

I'd probably post in the Brynhildr server discussion forum as well, rather than just in General Discussion, unless you're willing to change servers for an FC.

I know there are FCs out there for pretty much every type of player. FCs that are for diehard folks who want to run the highest-tier content immediately, FCs that are just chill and chat with each other but don't really run events, FCs for folks focused on roleplaying in-game, FCs that try to be inclusive of all player types, etc. What I don't know is what any of those FCs are for your server, specifically, which is why you may have more luck in your server-specific discussion forum.

Another place to check would be the /r/FFXIVRECRUITMENT subreddit, which is more generic (but also probably gets more traffic than your server-specific discussion forum here, as those do tend to be a little low on the activity side). It's not a discussion forum, as people can't even reply to posts; it's just a place to post "hey, I'm looking for [an FC/a static/a linkshell dedicated to hunts/whatever]" notices, along with information on how anyone who has a suggestion/answer can contact you.

Good luck in finding the FC that matches your playstyle; I know it's got to be out there, somewhere.

It kinda depends on if you are willing to relocate across servers/datacenter. I cannot speak for Byrn, but the one I help run on Marlboro is chill. We don’t remove anyone til they’ve been gone for a year without a word.

Without a word in game or just no word anywhere?
Also can you transfer your character to a different world? Like everything (Gear/Gil)

No word anywhere most FCs will presume you quit. Dropping a message in Discord etc that you will be away for a bit and no one is gonna remove you in most FCs. You can easily transfer items/gil/etc over if you find a place you like better.
