    Level 50 Crafter Needing Help

So this would be my 3rd account I start and get all crafts to 50. My other two accounts were from legacy and before heaven expansion so never seen anything passed 50. Just started ffxiv back from a 3rd account I started right before heaven and finally getting them to 50. So much to take in after 50, with new quests, these scripts and collections. And guides online seem to be so long and a big wall of text what to do next. Is there a walkthrough guide on what to do from 50 to 70. Like are scripts worth doing at 50 or are they useless because level cap is 80? Im trying to find when to update gear but thats impossible. I have all new level 50 gear that took lots of time n money but already seem pointless on my level 54 crafts. Is there a direct dummy downed guide anywhere? I feel most guides want to give u melds and caps to hit to continue and I just wanna get to 70 and enjoy the 70-80 grind everyone else is having without missing anything important. For example, i dont wanna reach level 70 crafting an then realize i needed something from an npc back when i was level 55. Thanks for any help.

At each plateau (50, 60, 70) stop and grind through to the next level on GC hand ins, and on refined materials (turning logs into lumber, turning ores into ingots, etc.). Otherwise, focus on one of two things : Leves, or Crafting Log.

If you are doing Leves, do what you can to get HQ hand ins, and to conserve your Leve Allowances, only do the Leves that have you handing in three times.

If you are doing the Crafting Log, go by materials tiers. By this, I mean when you need a new ore, or a new lumber, or a new leather, or a new cloth type. Make everything once (Weaver will level a lot faster than the rest just due to the number of subcombines), or more times if you need to for your own use, retainer use, or for hand ins.

Leves are a LOT faster. But, they also tend to cost a lot more. Crafting log can actually generate a profit if you sell everything you make. Its up to you. About the only thing I’d worry about melding to your gear as you level up, especially since you can safely remove most of the Materia, would be CP. More CP is always a good thing.

Caimie covers leveling in her guide.

If I might ask, why three accounts?

Inner Quiet, Steady Hand II, Waste Not, Basic touch x 4,
Careful Synthesis II, Masters Mend, Steady Hand II, Basic touch x 2, Great strides, Byregot's Blessing, Careful Synthesis II

From what I remember, the Basic touch weren't really an option at 50 and Hasty Touch had to be used. Creating the much used 'Hasty spam' rotation.

The crafting changed after 50. It's all about stacking Inner Quiet to get a powerful BB (Byregot's Blessing) and that remains true right to 80.

Once you get to 56, collectables can really start to dominate. Simply because you only need 50% on the quality for turn in. Anything above that simply gives more experience. If you have the mats to do the 50+ turn in, do them, especially if you have a lot of HQ mats. Simply because yes, full HQ mat means 50% to start and you can use all CP just to complete and it will turn in. Great if you are struggling due to gear. Having scrips for gear and materia makes the journey cheaper, Gil wise but I used the Chimerical Felt set at 60 and didn't go full scrip until 70. By the time you hit 70 though, Prudent touch is a thing and you can manage rotations much better.
