    Healing with ps4 controller

I have decided to try healing using my ps4 controller, I use the dpad up and down to scroll through the party to target heal, but for some reason say I cast Cure then attack target I have to re scroll down to the tank every time to target him. Is there a way to keep him targeted without using a mouse to click on it?

When scrolling with either up/down or left/right, if you just use an action it'll snap back to your previous target after. If you hit the confirm better (Should be X on PS4), that will become your new main target that it will snap back to. So, to reiterate, press confirm to lock in a selection, and if you don't do that you'll just be targeting it temporarily (Very handy for throwing out a heal on a DPS).

Yeah, the soft targeting is a convenience feature so you can throw one-off heals and buffs at occasional targets, then turn your attention back to whomever you're supposed to be focused on. Confirm will convert to a hard target.

If you're primarily concerned with targeting the tank and the boss, you can bind a target-of-target button. On fights with just one target it should jump back and forth without any problems, since, ostensibly, the tank and boss will always target each other. There's a keybind or you can macro
