I swear most people sound like they are straining while on the toilet when dancing in this game. Doesn't suit Dancer at all.

Even switching back to miqo'te from viera she screams way too much. It was more obnoxious on viera. I think they just need to tune down the frequency of battle voices for dancer.
Haha, I purposely picked Viera voice 5 for the angery bunny battle scream. I love it.

BRD isn't much different, who would've thought archers were such noisy fighters
I ended up fantasiaing a couple times on my dancer character to find a voice I could tolerate. But it has more to do with hating combat grunts in general. If I could turn them off in general I would.
Turn voice off.
BwAAAAaaaaaaAA!
On a serious note though, I don't know what they'd do honestly.
I've been hearing people talk about this battle voices/sounds a lot lately, but I can say with confidence I've never heard any character vocalization during combat in my years of playing. Is there a setting I'm missing, or what? Haven't ever heard my own character, let alone anyone elses. /shrug![]()
Au Ra male voice 4 is pretty nice. It's masculine, but still boyish. I would say it's a great voice for dancer, and for any job really.
There are several male voices that sound pretty pleasant for dancer. Elezen 4, Midlander 4, and Midlander 11 come to mind.
I think it would be good to remember that dancers are more than just your typical dancers (like the catgirls in Ul'dah). They're still warriors fighting fiercely out there so their voices are going to sound a certain way. They're exerting strenuous, physical effort, despite how graceful and elegant their moves may be.
