Dancer on Bard gear huge error?

Week 2 of Eden, i have tokens for actual gear this week, my problem? using said tokens for the gear for dancer. Looking at Scouting set I'm convinced SE made a huge error putting dancer on Bard/Mch gear. Not only do we get the insult of being the lowest dps with very little to justify the insult we have to share the ugliest gear sets with the other 2 lowest dps in game. This in no way fits mine or i'm convinced anyone's image of what a dancer is, or how one dresses. It makes me wonder if Yoshi was doing lots of crack when he approved this mistake, that is the only logical explanation. I feel SE needs to actually come out and say either "we fucked up here's the real dancer stat build, and we're removing dnc from bard gear next week." or "Haha you losers dance in uggo gear, and be lowest dps till you are barred from all raid content for daring to enjoy new jobs *spit*." Either way this snub to a whole group of players is uncalled for. I intend to continue to raise hell about it until hell is raised too. Angry, frustrated and hating SE in an expansion that gave me the one job I wanted since ARR 2.0. Fix it Fix it now!

NIN and RDM wish that BRD/MCH were the lowest output after DNC.

Edit - Also, cry more. This is a non-issue because glamour exists.

I was under the impression the MCH was doing pretty good damage. Also Bard isn't that bad either.

Also Dancer uses same stats as bard so it's going to be using the same gear.

Glamour is a thing. Most gear I don't find fitting of most of the jobs. There's only been 1 samurai set after all, and all pld gets is capes and giant pauldrons.

It's a ranged dps. It's shares ranged dps gear. Stats are always a mixed bag tier to tier, that's why you mix and match.

That silly. There is no reason to dismiss the idea of having two pieces of gear with different looks sharing the same stats.

Honestly it is kind of ridiculous that every job doesn't have their own set of raid gear.

Even when they do (see af) the stats are random. They don't add stats to gear to make it the best per job. It's always been that way.

Hell, ninja and drg have their own gear, in your example, and they still have to mix and match raid and tome and crafted gear and the like to get the best Stat combinations.

The point is to have a set of raid glamour for every job. Most people use random glamours, but I'd expect there to be a set available for every job so you can look like your job.

It's not feasible to do this all the time. There's a reason they only do job specific af sets once an expansion.

Never really understood people's infatuation with wanting Dancer to share Ninja's gear for glamour. Bard and Machinist have really pretty sets and pieces that you can do a lot with, I just think y'all suck at glamour endgame.

I think for most people it's due to NIN (and DRG) having their own sets always so with random groups. BRD, MCH, and DNC have to roll against each other for the same gear while NIN and DRG don't have to roll against other jobs for their gear.
