Most of the Stormblood Crafter class quests do to, especially GSM's.

A fairly significant amount of people in Eorzea in general know of our identity (both the player's actual name and their status as the Champion of Eorzea, the Warrior of Light and the Eikon Slayer - for instance if you returned to the class Guilds and spoke to the Guildmasters after the final ARR 2.55 main story quest was done they would all say the same thing about Monetarist agents visiting them trying to get information from the Guilds as to the Warrior of Light's whereabouts and the guilds all basically told the Monetarists in no uncertain terms to "take a hike", effectively protecting you from being discovered.

And if you spoke to certain Brass Blades and Crystal Braves around the same time in various locations most would either cower in fear and say nothing (afraid you would beat them up or worse), or would say "I'm on your side, and this discussion never took place, you were never here."

So it stands to reason the Jobs npcs would also know that too. Hells, a two-bit Ul'dahn merchant with a bad hairstyle in Kugane knew who were without ever having met us personally. The fact is, we have one hell of a lofty reputation that follows us everywhere, even if we may not totally aware of it, and the Jobs npcs would have to be fairly dense if they didn't at least realize that eventually, if not knew from the beginning.

The vast majority of level 80 missions confirm that at least the class instructors know who you are, the thing is that many of them do not consider you as the Warrior of Light, they consider you as a friend as the relationship with Oboro(Nin Quest).

Really, just about everyone in Eorzea should know by now. Randoms might not recognise you at first and order you around and such, but those NPCs tend to suddenly come to the realisation that "THAL'S BALLS! I just got the sodding WARRIOR OF LIGHT to do some tedious trivial errand!" by the time you come back to turn the quest in. I can't imagine that any of the trainers who you work with on a regular basis are so ignorant that they don't know who you are by *at least* level 70, surely.
I think they only realize it once they put the pieces together. They know about the Warrior of Light but do not know WoL is the Warrior of Light more due to the different stories being told about him or her and soem stories may even exaggerate the WoL's appearance.

Not a particularly good example given Hancock was specifically told to expect the arrival of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn at the behest of Lord Lolorito. I expect he was briefed on their appearance and did further research on the Scions, of whom the most famous is the WoL. He didn't just conveniently stumble upon us at the Hostelry and throw open the doors of the Ruby Bazaar for use as a base out of charity.

Yep, Hancock is a person who prefers to be 100% informed with what he is dealing with as it is part of his Business to be well informed with his Clients. He would not be where he is now if not for this habit.

I don’t think the RDM guy has a clue. He’s more concerned about training Arya. The closest thing he said about us and our power was that our skills have now surpassed his. He asked what we’ve been up to, which we reply by telling him about our exploits on the First. He just says,”Wow. Sounds like a challenge, even for a red mage!” And that’s literally it. Then it’s back to Arya.

I haven’t done the BLM 80 quest yet but at 70 the ONLY thing the guild was concerned about was me being the caretaker of Shatotto’s secrets - Shatotto being the founder of the black magic arts. And basically being her chosen successor.

That’s it. No WoL references or anything.

Does he omit Stealer of pants if you have not done the quest?

No clue haven't gotten that far on my alt. (My alt hasn't touched Hildebrand yet or gotten to sb. She's only to just before the Vault in HW. Been too obsessed with my main for now to play her)
