    while i'm not positive the thaumaturgy guildmaster knows exactly, he's a bit more aware than any other class guildmaster ive found so far. he takes going to the First like it's a walk in the park for you.

    Sound more like a Black Magic thing though.

    The magic learned by Thaumaturgy and Black Mage does heavily involve magic that takes from the Void sometimes. Though of course the part of the magic involving the summoning of Voidsent are forbidden.
