When did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

Unfortunately, since the game closes without an error message, we have less information about the crash than we normally would. There are a few things that should be tried first if you haven't done so already.

1) Do a clean install of your graphics card drivers.

2) Try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

3) Make sure that any anti-virus software you have has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV.

4) Reinstall the game. When you do, make sure to remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.
