    An unexpected error had occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV.(17)

    I cannot log in with one of my characters. I get the error listed in the title of this post. I was zoning when my client froze and crashed.

    I should say that I can log in with other ones on other data centers.

    If this is only happening with one character, you may want to try removing the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

    If this does not resolve the issue, try a reinstallation of the game.
