Can I just point out how funny it is that the early prediction for ShB healers after the jobs showcases were that WHM was still going to be terrible compared to the sheer utility of SCH and AST?

And now instead of getting themselves fixed, they want us nerfed so we can be shitty do-nothing healers again. I see tanks proposing buffs for the other weaker tanks and discussing how to keep them balanced, all I see here is "WTF why is WHM good!? nerf them so we can go back to sch ast only!!"

What have you been reading? Way more people are advocating fixing SCH and AST than are suggesting nerfing WHM.

My guess would be the OP's opening statement, albeit it a bit over exaggerated, they're free to comment back at the person pointing out the obvious humor in the matter. WHM def got the shaft in SB, its nice to see the changes this time around is all. Doesn't make them wrong for it. What you're pointing out is also true.

Even the OP just stated that WHM was OP compared to AST and SCH. It didn’t actually say WHM needed a nerf as opposed to making sure AST and SCH could keep up. Same with the thread about WHM damage needing to stay high - I didn’t see many serious suggestions that it should be nerfed before that. My guess is that WHM mains have been stung by past expansions and are getting paranoid and defensive - and rightly so. I think it’s a pity that it seems to be creating an oppositional mindset, though. We should all be advocating for the same things: all healing jobs should be fun, all healing jobs should be (approximately) equal in their capacity to heal through content and in their group contribution, and all healing jobs should be different, so that they can appeal to what different people are looking for in a healer.
