Did you switch jobs in shadowbringers?, from what to what and why?

I still main DRK but I switched DPS secondary from samurai to Ninja.

I wanted to switch to Gunbreaker but he is too simple, gets boring quick so I stayed DRK.

Switched from samurai for the same reason, SAM is an awesome class but the gameplay gets stale after a while. Ninja is way more active and the new skills are awesome.

For my main, I switched from BRD to DNC - although, I still plan to flex both. DNC being more support oriented is what prompted me to switch, as well as its aesthetic (still attached to BRD though, which would be expected after 3+ years of playing it).

For my healers, I switched from AST to WHM because AST is just terrible right now. Terrible potencies and terrible design. They took the old card system that initially drew me to the class and destroyed it. And it feels like I'm healing with a broken weapon compared to WHM and SCH.

I swapped from MCH to DNC. Then I got DNC to level 80 and swapped back to MCH. I love my DNC, but I already loved MCH before Shadowbringers came out (yeah i was one of the ~7 people that liked it), and it only got WAY better in ShB, so, yeah, back to MCH!

After only ever really playing BRD I decided to give the new MCH a try. Only level 68 atm but it's super fun so far, so I'm planning on switching to that class as my main job IF it still feels as good at level 80, and IF I can perform as well on it as I can on my bard on higher content. I found that I'm still looking at my hotbar way too much, messing up mechanics, so that might become troublesome at higher content. For my BRD it's all muscle memory and the feel for it, I see something flashing from the corner of my eye I know what it is and what to press without even thinking about it or having to take my eyes off the mechnics that are happening.

AST main and now temporarily main WHM until the former gets potency fix. Healing big pulls between those two is like heaven and earth.
Maybe I'll try level SCH because I feel empty without micromanaging.

I used to play SMN since 2.x but I went back to maining BLM after ditching it when I first started. Well, I've been playing BLM a lot in late 4.x because I was getting bored of SMN but 5.0 really solidified my newfound love for BLM when they gave it so many good changes. Meanwhile the new SMN changes absolutely bothered me after actually trying it out and it's depressing to realize how awful SMN has become.

For healers I still play SCH and a bit of WHM, although WHM is more fun.

Used to main BLM but swapped to RDM throughout most of SB, then came back to BLM with ShB.

Still tank with DRK, and heal with AST. DRK is even better, and I'm not to annoyed with AST besides its potencies, which I'm hoping will be buffed.

Used to main BRD since HW 3.5, decided to jump ship after having our utility slashed in half and class identity gutted. Currently leveling up other classes to 50 to find something else I like (NIN a good contender right now).
