Why does MCH have a robot?

I get it, the MCH has gadgets and that's cool and I love it. What I dont get is how we are the only ones with a robot that basically beams in from the enterprise and technology wise is pretty out of place even for allag tech. Where did queen come from?

Stephanivien is our primary gadget maker. So technically Ishgardian tech, probably with some help from Garlond Ironworks.

Their LB3 is an orbital satellite. It's better not to question it.

We can teleport around the world instantly.
We can travel to different worlds
We can summon beings from other dimensions
We can conjure up devastating spells using Aether, which can't be seen directly
We can summon giant beings of Aether and fall under their influence
    We have giant floating ships
    We have dragons

but a robot didn't make sense...

I've stopped questioning stuff when they gave us flying motorcycles and a Rolls-Royce Cabriolet which can turn into an Jet aircraft

Hang on a sec. We conjure chocobos, living, breathing creatures, out of thin air wherever we go, including *other worlds*, yet conjuring up a mechanical creation with simple directives is beyond reasoning? How about that giant machine we casually whip out whenever we want to use Air Anchor, Bio Blaster, Drill Shot or Auto Crossbow? How about Black Mages and their explosions? How about summoners and their Egis? How about ninjas and their bunnies? And so on.

Ironically, the MSQ accidentally gives us a lore possibility for it. I'll put it in Spoilers just in case, but:

Basically, we eventually learn that a Talos is essentially a pile of rocks being animated via strategically placed aether infused 'control' crystals and a similar Core. It could be argued that since we learn how to summon Queen while on the first, it stands to reason that our involvement in the creation of the Talos during the 79 dungeon quest gave us the inspiration to do something similar.
If rocks can be animated into a functional human form, why not steel? That lunchbox we carry around can store all manner of parts. Its not impossible to think that we're storing collapsible preformed parts (like we used with Turrets) in that lunchbox and summoning Queen merely involves throwing out the parts and "connecting" our aether to it to power it.

Hey, hey, I can perfectly justify the existence of Carby!

Actually, the car does that in FFXV. So, with the storyline of how we come across it, it fits. What I am wondering is how is the car maintained? I dont trust Cid to make the right parts for the car when we have mostly magitech technology.
