Why does MCH have a robot?

I get it, the MCH has gadgets and that's cool and I love it. What I dont get is how we are the only ones with a robot that basically beams in from the enterprise and technology wise is pretty out of place even for allag tech. Where did queen come from?

... Allag created huge mechanical, floating islands/aircraft, yet a tiny robot is out of place?... I'm confused...
Also, considering (ShB spoilers)

Cids' research laid down the groundwork for time/world travel, which future generations refined and successfully realised, which is what allowed G'raha to travel to the First period, and pull US to it

... No, really, I fail to understand how a tiny robot is out of place, OP. :P
