New Mog Station items?

It's not a bad thing that people have the option to throw money at the game they're (already) paying to play,
but, it does take away the option for other people who don't want to pay extra, to obtain said items without paying.
This could be justified if there were other options for obtaining them in-game, no matter how grindy, given as Primal mounts are already grindy enough.
The seasonal items and skip potions I understand, but other than that is just plain greed.

All the items that are cash shop exclusive are made by a separate team and would not exist if not for the cash shop team being a thing. They were hired/brought on for the express purpose of making items that would be sold seperately from the ingame stuff. You are losing nothing by them existing and options have not been limited. Likely the higher ups would not have approved their re-allocation to FFXIV without a financial reason.
Yes it's for profit, but it's a company and understandable. This isn't like DLC that was cut from the game and then charged for later. They aren't charging for anything we would have had anyway (if we're not considering seasonal stuff, which I understand the reason for business wise).

So yes, it does concern people who don't want to buy cash shop items.
I've had my share of items from the Mog Station, but I'd be happier if you had the option to grind for them.
It would be worth it if they actually put more effort in changing the game for the better, but as far as I'm concerned,
they just repeat the same formula every expac. (With a couple of extra wasted content here and there ie. Diadem, Eureka, Blue Mage)

It really would be nice if we had more funding for the main game from it's actual revenue instead of them having what amounts to a lemonade stand on the side for extra "allowance". But I cannot fault them too much for what the cash shop is: Completely straightforward, optional, and cosmetic luxury purchases. No RNG, no lootbox crazyness, no "I win" purchases (though in a PVE game this is really minimal impact anyway).

They're primarily made for the Chinese and Korean servers, I believe. They're simply brought over here due to popular request.

I do agree that having more variety would be great, though the NA/EU community has a lot of vocal players who shoot down suggestions related to the Mog Station.

pretty sure this is the last "eastern" theme outfit right now besides that one dress that is obnoxiously bad
i doubt we will ever see that

pretty sure all thats left is the DoH/L class sets
since they are just glamor items there

What would make me part with money more willingly is making everything from the cash shop account wide except for:

-Ceremony of Eternal Bonding
-Dyes
-Fantasia
-Tales of Adventure

I'm not surprised because I know these 'far eastern' outfits come from the Korean version of the game or something.

But dear lord am I tired of far eastern glam items. Can we get something else? And so far as I know they haven't even put in like, a simple basic kimono yet like some npcs wear but they keep putting thse different far east sets on the mobstation.

This, outfits and mounts should all be account wide.

Oh and if there's a haircut packaged with a genderlocked outfit but the hair is gender neutral...just sell the hair separately please this is annoying.

To all you young'ns asking why some of us don't like the cash shop. Many of us grew up in a time where you got everything thing in a game by paying for they game and unlocking what you wanted through challenges. MMOs didn't have cash shops just monthly fees, while still providing the same amount of content. Now most of the cool stuff seems to be moving to the cash shops while we get reskins or low effort models in game. The Mog Station is full of things I would love to have and would have made great rewards for ether seasonal events or the challenge log but since SE knows the whales will pay money they charge for it instead. Yes SE is a business and needs to make money but you are fooling yourself if you this they need to charge for the items they put in the shop especially at the crazy prices the charge. Cash shops are making games worse and those of you that buy from them are to blame for companies caring more about how to they can make more money from a game than making the game fun.

And I think what those of us complaining about MTX here are really saying is that we’d rather have the project team for the game wholly focused on good gameplay. I don’t want them to be beholden to venture capitalists who don’t care at all about video games just so we can have the most realistic eyelash physics ever seen in a video game. I just want good gameplay.
