Need help i cradh all the time

So I should start by saying I am very computer dumb I don't know much about anything that's not Netflix and playing games so if help could be put in the simplest of steps I would very my appreciate that.

I keep crashing it almost always happens when I teleport. I have mostly been getting a window that says :

An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.(1)
And the only button I can press is OK then exits the game and I have to relog. This happens when I teleport.
Also not as often i will not load into dungeons i can still chat in the party chat but it will just be a black screen.

The last one i get is also when i teleport but it has only happened 2 times but it is a much bigger error box it is:

An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.

It has been happening a lot like everytime i have ported today usually it will go about 40 ish min before starting but it seems to be getting worse please help.

It honestly sounds like your computer is having issues with running the game. How old is your computer? Have you tried lowering all your graphics settings?

Its a new computer like i said i don't know much about computers but the store i bought it from said it would have no trouble at all i have 8 gigs ram and a nvidia g1060 i think. It shouldn't be my computer, its possible that i have a setting that is causing it but i have no idea how to figure it out or fix it

When did this start happening? You mentioned this is a new PC, have you only had issues with this PC?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

Hi thanks for replying. I got this computer 3 months ago and it hasn't had this problem since the early release of Shadowbringers and it has continued till now. Havent had any issues with my computer but to be honest ffxiv is really the only thing I use this computer for

Thank you for the reply apolloJt.

Since this is a newer PC, you may want to update Windows. Make sure to install any 'Optional' or 'Recommended' updates as these might not update automatically.

You can try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

If you have any other programs or overlays open, make sure to close them.

You may also want to try a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers as well.
