Can Surface Slap and Identical Hook last 3 or 4 casts, please?

It's kinda garbage that the spearfishing skills Veteran's Trade and Identical Gig last the duration of the node you're on, while Surface Slap and Identical Hook cost the same, fulfill the same purpose, but only last for a single fish.

Agreed. Both skills would be a lot more useful if they lasted longer.

I think Identical Hook can remain single cast, just reduce the GP. Surface slap, yes please.

A trick I've been using for Surface Slap is letting the fish get away. Surface Slap only wears off when you actually catch a fish. If you know the bite types and timings, you can manipulate Surface Slap to drastically increase the chances (sometimes to guarantee) getting a specific fish.

Identical Cast can be combined with Double Hooking to really rack up fish. Doesn't work with collectibles, of course.

But yeah I would love for at least Surface Slap to be a 2-3minute buff like Patience. And make Chum work that way too while your at it.
