Which healing role to level first?

I loved AST and WHM before 5.0

Now AST just doesn't feel like AST now. And there is a FLOOD of WHM just about every time I did roulette's on my DNR. But is it true that AST just isn't the truly different healing role pre-5.0? If that is true, guess WHM will be my only healer to level since the rest sound like they are WHM too now?

AST is really weak right now. It has nothing to offer, weak heals, damage, and buffs.

Scholar is strong, and before 5.0 I would recommended it whole-heartedly, but now, it's just, boring. You've got almost nothing to do when you're not healing.

So yeah, general consensus, WHM is just about the only healer worth playing right now. It's not perfect, it great even imo, but its the only one that didnt get screwed over this expac.

I thought about that. I just cannot get into the groove with SCH for healing. Not that I cannot heal as SCH but pre-5.0, I loved how the AST and WHM felt more smooth in playstyle for me. Also, Didn't like SMN much at all. For me, the RDM was more my style and plus I still could insta-rez too. But thank you for the idea!
