BLM help wanted.

Hi, i am mainly a healer player but enjoy to dps sometimes. I leveled a scholar and tried summoner from there but did not enjoy it as much as I hoped.

Could somoneone help me out with what the blm aoe and single target rotations are from 70-80 aswel as some useful tips or macros you use when playing with a hand controller?

AOE past 70 is pretty easy.

Freeze (for an umbral heart to be used with Flare), Fire 3 (for astral fire buff), Flare, Flare, then start over.

If you're feeling like dropping some really quick damage and get some giggles from your group you can try this one every few minutes on the large pulls:

Freeze, Fire 3, Triplecast, Flare, Flare, Manafont, Flare

I pitched that off my hotbar so fast I just assumed it got pruned like Blizzard 2. Wait...., WHY DO WE STILL HAVE BLIZZARD 2?!?!!

Cough, well I haven't had a lot of experince with BLM at or past 70, got it up there in the last days of Stormblood. My rotation usually was Blizzard 3 - Echochain - Blizz 4 - Transpose and then just Fire 2 spam. Thunder 4 tossed in, maybe sharp cast.

It's useful for AoE prior to obtaining Fire II, and anything prior to obtaining Freeze.

When you get flare, you replace Fire 2 spam with a Flare.

When you hit 68 you can use two flares after Fire 3. Due to Freeze granting a umbral heart.

When you get Triplecast you can do stupid crap. Have fun

Actually from 35 to 50 the AoE rotation is Freeze - T2 - Freeze - Freeze - etc... refreshing Thunder on procs or as needed.

Yes, whenever you are in Umbral Ice you can refresh Thunder 4 and use Foul
