Primal Mount Suggestion

Got my Titania EX clear today, finally found a group able to do tethers during add phase, and now have the long and glorious grind that is getting weapons and the mount.

Something I thought of though after the fact was that, having people that actually know the fight is pretty darn useful but very few people that clear the fight want to go and help those that haven't. Right now with nothing else to do really, it's not hard getting a group together for clear parties but down the road with more stuff to occupy people, getting a clear group will be hard.

A potential solution I thought of was that you already get extra tomestones for having someone that hasn't cleared the fight, why not also make the mount 100% drop rate if there's someone that hasn't cleared? This way there's a reason for people to help clear parties beyond just being nice, cause let's face it, there are fewer of those people than there are those that just switch to farm parties.

100% drop is a bit high.
I would say hefty boost to drop chance might be incentive, but 100% is too much.

People would probably just abuse this with there raid alts more than have a better incentive to help

Raid alt? Is that many people has multiple level 80 characters (or the money to buy that many jump potions)?

Also, they would either get their mounts on their alt or generously give it to another that has the same patience and generosity. Now factor in you still have 1/8 chance to get it, you'd need 8 players with 8 raid alts in a single party....

The problem with helping someone to clear it is 90% of the time those that need help aren't able to pull their weight around the dps check at best and can't grasp easy part of the fight at worst. You can put how many sweet loot as you want if people aren't good enough to kill it you won't get any loot.

I'm not saying everybody sucks but, a whole day in "kill for a friends, kill party then farm, kill party know the fight"that can't even pass those adds makes me thinks twice before trying to help.

Why do you think it took so long for me to get a clear on this thing? Though the kill for a friend parties never seems to work, those ones always seem to attract the worst kinds of players. That's saying that the PF maker didn't lock it so only those who have cleared can join. As CazzT said though, maybe not 100% but certainly a hefty buff to help others who are late to the party, for whatever reason.

"Kill for a friend" 99% of the time basically means "None of us have cleared this but you'll never know because the game doesnt tell you how many players with bonus are in the party".

Yep, this is the main problem actually, specially with fights like Titania EX were a single error might cost you the whole fight. Later on when we get more ilvl I wouldn't see an issue with this, but right now everyone in the party needs to pull their weight in the fight or it's a wipe.

Still I would really like if they made the mount drop % a bit higher, since the drop rate seems really low atm. Been farming Titania EX since this weekend non stop and haven't seen a single mount drop.

This happens literally all the time though. You join a farm party and the newest, most garbage player who cleared it once by getting carried, who then spawns an add and tanks the floor for most of the fight, wins the mount.
