MSQ Account wide skip after completion

I know this is a long shot but maybe others feel the same. I love having alternate characters. Whether it's for different race choices or small RP like experiences I want with them, I like having them. However, now being into 5.0, and being years invested in this game, I keep finding myself with having less time and even lesser patience for the MSQ grind. As a result I find myself neglecting my alts. I never wanted this to happen.

I think the MSQ is a wonderful experience and should be viewed to completion if you have the time but starting shadowbringers and spending 8 hours or more just to get to the first 71 dungeon is pretty intense for someone who wants to experience the game with a different characters. Even with skipping the cut-scenes on alts after seeing them on my main character is daunting because there are so many times that being forced to do the same fetch quests or seeing the same content can be fun. It's way too time consuming and being locked for certain things behind the MSQ makes it too complicated to experience for the 2nd or 3rd time. The game allows you to have up to 8 character slots. But honestly, who has the time to constantly grind out 2.0-5.0 content for different characters? Maybe it's me. Thoughts?

Just wondering what reasoning they would need to give away free what they are quite straightforwardly selling somewhere else.

How does this benefit SE as a company and the future of XIV? Do you think this would really matter to the overall population of XIV, many of which will never make an alt since there's really no reason to? Say you and the people you know were allowed this, now consider the profits lost form mog station that go into resources to further XIV. Why this instead of any other mog station item?

But they're already selling it so the odds of it happening are essentially zero. It'd be a loss of a source of $$$ for them.

I'm completely aware of the story skip and the revenue it generates for the game. I was more so talking about the newer content and not more so about new/returning players joining the community. It would be like, once someone completes the most current content, in our case 5.0 MSQ then the flag would happen. a pop up would show up and be like would you like to skip to endgame on another character on this account. There is no buy to play option for that particular scenario for obvious reasons i am aware. I am just dreading going through 5.0 MSQ a second time to unlock the content for the Alt because again, even with the scene skips it's still going to take a lot of time. It would be a small quality of life improvement for players who are in similar situations where time is short but still would like other characters. Who really wants to do Thancred fetch quests, collect bees and dive in a swampy lake for statues over and over again. lol

But. I'm sure if something like this was to ever happen there would be some sort of limitations or something. I don't think it would hurt SE as much because we still have new and returning players purchasing the skip to catch up...or are current players buying these additional features more then I think?

They base the game around ONE character not multiple.
