Excog ->recitation->emergency tactics->adlo->lustrate->lustrate.
Maybe also use fey union while all this is happening.
Dissipate if all else fails

If someone is using LD then good chance everything else is already on CD. Besides, the tank is probably still taking damage during that time.
Really they need to change the requirements for LD. Instead of requiring HP to hit 100%, make it so you need to heal an amount equal to 80-90% of the DRK's max HP. Right now it's stupidly hard, and often completely impossible to hit 100%.

So... working as intended? haha
I think they really have overlooked that. It is not normal that we need to use every single skill we have to top a tank off when WHM press one button.

Tbh, unless a WHM has Bene available LD is not really easy to deal with either.
Had a run the other day of Akadamy where the DRK pulled the first three groups. Unfortunately the RDM was a Crafter main who'd never learned (or even tried) AoEing, and the DNC just seemed to only AoE randomly.
Needless to say as a WHM I'd already burned all my oGCD heals by the time the DRK had burned their C/Ds.... Cure 2 is not strong enough to save a DRK even when spamming it. That was a bit of an eye opener.
Now I probably didn't do everything right, and I know I missed the initial Walking Dead activation... still though, that is a lot of HP we have to heal. @_@

You have to have (currently) roughly 3600 potency worth of heals to get a DRK's Walking Dead Debuff off.
If you're not a WHM or not in 8 man content, that DRK is dying no matter what you do.
Because if it's come to the fact they've used it, you're probably resource starved as is.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

I had a DRK die once, only pull I've ever failed since the expansion started but they likely weren't rotating their cooldowns properly. Didn't have this issue with other DRK. That first DRK used living dead and he uh... died, and almost everything was on cooldown. It was only like 120k hp in 10 seconds. You have to have (currently) roughly 3600 potency worth of heals to get a DRK's Walking Dead Debuff off.

Only.
Tanks just going from 70 to 80 gained like what, 40k? 50k?

I personally wait Living Dead to have 5s left and do Emergency Tactic + Adlo + Recitation + Excog + 1 lustrate, that's usually enough.
However, any remotely competent DRK would have Abyssal Drain up and used at this point to eleviate the issue. (maybe you're unlucky and got Darknoobs)
Don't forget that during the first 5s, your fairy does heal, if you add up the HoT, over the course of those 10s she'll do a good 30k heal on the tank. it's really not that hard IF you know it's coming (and any good DRK will tell you "LD next pull" or something
