GC shop needs better seal sinks.

Just like there are money sinks in other aspects of FFXIV, I think Grand Company stores should have stuff that people would consider spending a lot of seals on, repeatedly over a long period of time. This would help encourage a constant flow of new turn-ins and seals.

One possibility would be to remove the "Unique" flag on the survival and engineering manuals, but i'm sure some better ideas may be out there.

What's wrong with having a bunch of seals? Most of us don't have very many at all.

most people i know spend all their seals on manuals, so I consider that seal sink enough

I agree, but the problem is they dont stack.

well gathering the best way to xp is leves so you need to go back to town anyway. And crafting you are likely to be in a town so you can pick 2 up every time you run out. If you don't want to go back to your home town, just pick up some black market ones. I don't think it needs to be anymore than that myself. Just my opinion of course.

Better is the term i'd use, definately not more. And some of the mid level gear is in my opinion over priced for the amount of time its useful unless one is hard charging for tons of seals.

As a newer player i had alot to do that helped me level past most of the GC gear. I grabbed the full lvl 25 uniform cause its neat(want a vanity tab so i can be in uniform at lvl 50 please) but got limited use from it.

I'd love to see some of the loewer level GC gear drop a bit in seal price yet keep the lvl 50 stuff as is as a end-point goal.

Maybe the gear that costs 1k seals to 700-750 so 2 high end NM drops (or 2 high end and 1 whatever) could net you atleast some GC gear. By the time i get complete sets of mid level GC gear i won't need it anymore
