Or people prefer pressing several buttons in lieu of spamming the same one over and over again. Just because you prefer something doesn't make it inherently better. In the case of Gunbreaker, you would no longer be able to weave combos which is why Gnashing Fang doesn't replace the baseline combo.

I play on an Xbox 1 controller.
Not at all seeing what you're seeing .__.,
Please don't. I like it. I have continuation on my g600s extra button and it feels like im pulling a trigger. Don't mess with it please Yoshi
I did use l2+ down and left and up for the combo and l2 + square is continuation my normal combo and aoe combo is on r2
My cooldowns are r2->l2 and my lesser used cds (shirk and such) is l2->r2
Ever since they stupidly changed SFX of a gunbreaker, i am more worried about SE listening to single pointless threads like this and thinking its a perfectly good thing to mess everything up to the liking of FEW literally FEW people on forums.
SE should stop doing it right now.
Except continuation is ment to be a OGCD skill that resets every second. Gnashing fang combo is easy idk why people want to dummy it down. I love how it currently works because i can stop my normal combo at the finisher and save the powder charge for later after gnashing combo.Agreed. If Continuation was to be repurposed into a Gnashing Fang starter button, then your basic combo would morph into Gnashing Fang, and follow-ups could simply be done by pressing that particular combo button again (so twice for every step in the combo). Problem solved, button bloat removed, number of combo steps remains the same, no need for additional hotbars.
Your Cartridge Combo is separate from your Bread and Butter combo because it uses resources and sometimes you should pool those resources for things like Trick Attack and other raid buffs.
Also, if you have your Cartridge Combo on the same buttons but different hot-bar than regular combo, you can transition to it by holding down one extra shoulder button than the one you're already holding. So if you put your combo on R2, keeping that held, just going L2 will quickly bring it up and you can access it without disturbing your flow.

Sure but Gnashing Fang could just turn into Jugular Rip, instead of having the extra button. Like, SE just changed Verflare/Verholy to do exactly that for RDM. They used to be their own buttons and now Verthunder/Veraero just turn into them. Did they intentionally design continuation with the intent of giving themselves something to de-bloat in 6.0?
