    Yes, you voiced your concern. Could they do sh*t? No! Why? Because they actually can't for limitations. First thing they do is to listen the players, and I'm sure they wanted this to be implemented in another way, but they can't right now, because the actual system where FFXIV is running Sucks!

    if it couldn't be implemented correctly now then it should have waited until 2.0 like everything else they keep pushing back because it can't be done correctly with this engine.

    my point is not that you should be able to move and cast. my point is putting in a system that is this glitchy that is even worse than what we had is a bad move. they could have acted just like everything else and stated due to server limitations this cannot be done at this time and we plan to add this correctly at 2.0. once the lag and engine changes are made if the system works fine then implement it.

    The system with the newcoming jobs and the battle system had to be changed following the plan they had in mind. This sadly had to resort to this solution among all the others they have discussed, so they have chosen the more appropriate one, and sadly is not the option that everybody wanted, but it has to appease the majority, rite?

    To be honest I tried magic (crying tears of blood) and I don't see any problem with it. Just move, stop, cast,... what's the problem? It's not that it's glitchy, it's just that you have to stop, then cast, like they have planned. See the little icon near the TPs to check whenever you can cast, and once you do that for like 5-6 times you'll get used to it.

    Because different MMOs don't have servers wired with chewed bubblegum and client software held together with duct tape.

    Did you know there are 2 blue arrows at the right side of your hp/mp/tp bar that actually tell you when you stop completely?

    Noticed that, But I've never had a problem with casting. Although the OP's idea has come to mind. I think its a good idea and should have been that way to start with.

    Since the patch, we have a clear way to tell if we are moving or not, there is no need for an auto stop. Facing the target automatically upon casting is a horrible idea as well, there are many reasons I can think of where I would not want to be looking at the mob. That and what is people's problem with not being able to move while casting.... when you are casting a spell you are suppose to be concentrating.... you cant do that when you are running -.-

    I think the intention is to allow future use of more instacast spells useable while running, Yoshi said if they made it to where casting would stop you then it would do the same with instacast spells and he wants some spells useable on the run.
