Dude you act like half a second delay is the end of the world. It's kind of bad not "so bad".

you're right it's worse than "not so bad." the delay is only part of the issue. you add the delay with the spells that just decide not to stop, the animations not even showing you are casting, and the charge bar for the spells not showing up and it becomes almost game breaking.
