Never had anything on forums make it into voice chat, although other peoples do. I tend to leave my mentions for important things. I may diss agree with you here and agree with u elsewhere, I dont judge on past disagreements. Either way glad I can make your day there.oh yeah man no worries. i may disagree with someone on these forums, but i never take it personally. the forums are my break from the monotony of farming. it's my relief if you want to look at it that way. it's just different conversations than the voice chat ones, but of course most threads here make it into voice chat at some point during the day lol.![]()




same here. the post made it here because there's 4 of us that use controllers in the voice group and we were discussing this same thing before they added the movement when yoshi posted about the controller users would have issues, but they would be ok if they didn't care about being efficient.Never had anything on forums make it into voice chat, although other peoples do. I actually like being able to chant facing any direction I please, especially when being made to face a direction at a bad time would cause me to become petrified.
Plus seeing something come to pass that forcefully destroys the fluidity of casting animations would be extremely upsetting.
I'd be fine with this if it were optional.

it's been discussed a few times. /facetarget we are talking about the function of it not the visuals. the function is to instantly register that you have stopped in the server so you can instantly begin to cast. i'm like you in a don't care about turning around, but the instant stop button that controller users do not have and keyboard users do would be very nice to have.

and i hear the "i am from EU, its so bad here" excuse again, i am from the EU too (austria) and i never had any problems with that mythical EU lag that renders you unable to dodge ifrit or stop and cast...
I play black mage a lot since the patch and its no problem whatsoever for me to stop and cast and yes i use a controller and i don't have a /facetarget macro.
You just look at the blue arrows, that's what they are for, even when rushing thru the darkhold its no problem to stop for a second and cast a sleepga on the running by hordes.

Adapt to the current changes. Wait for 2.0 in order to have a better system. Why the hell would they give us this system for then? It's clearly the fault of the Crystal Tools or the Server structure, so deal with it for now, will you?
It will be solved in the future, it's all okay, they know what to do.
And for anybody who wonders, no, I hate magic, but I have a mind open enough to understand this problem will be solved in the future, and so do you, I'm sure.

we voiced concerns before it went in and was told to wait until it went in and we tried it before saying anything. it's in game now and i can say it was horribly implemented. it's caused more issues than i expected and i expected a few.
