The combat had maybe 1% of the strategy involved in gameplay now. Taking 10 seconds to choose between starting with combo 1 and starting with combo 2, when you're forced to alternate thereafter, does not make the decision any harder to make or execute.

I'd be all for a turn-based, tactic-heavy side-content mode. But 1.0 was not that. It was not even remotely tactical. It just... existed.
