"A Requiem for Heroes" Soundtrack

Up until now, the pattern for blu-ray official soundtracks for FINAL FANTASY XIV has been two per "expansion" (in quotes here due to including A Realm Reborn), and each soundtrack is titled after either the final story patch (e.g. The Far Edge of Fate) or the expansion itself (e.g. Stormblood).

But the second part of Stormblood's OST, which I expect would be titled A Requiem for Heroes, isn't out yet. It hasn't even been announced yet.

Why is that, and when can we expect it?

If I were to guess there wasn't enough new tracks to warrant a release. We'll probably get a full one relatively soon since Shadowbringers added a ton by itself.

Well, there was a small EP released on iTunes with about 8 or 9 tracks, which included Suzaku's Theme, Seiryu's Theme, the music from Alphascape, and the music from the Ghimlyt Dark. But it didn't include any of the music from Orbonne Monastery... which is probably just remastered Tactics music but still. The Stormblood one had Rabanastre and Ridorana on it nonetheless.

I'd hope they'd release an OST for it, but I guess they're going to combine it with Shadowbringers? Because it would have been released by now, going off of when the others were released. Kind of don't like that, as I like the main expansion themes and music to not be too jumbled up but...

Heavensward and Stormblood soundtracks didn't release until 8-12 months after the expansion. Still going to be a while before shb soundtrack is out.
