    SHB BLM is the peak of this game's job design

    beautifully designed jobs, all skills flow into each other. clear phase of uptime and downtime, and seemingly they have answers to ST and AOE situation.

    i suppose it shouldnt be asurprise considering BLM is yoshi's main. he probably put extra time on it

    Not running new content yet, but even still, there's a number of small details that show a considerable amount of thought. For example, the way your usual single target rotation (at least at 70) will leave you with 700 MP. Conveniently just below what you need to pull off a finisher Flare. I think that shows a good bit of foresight on MP tuning.

    The AOE rotation is surprisingly fun now.I think we have reached the golden age of BLM’s AOE.
    Single Target ain’t bad either.We can hold Xenoglossy for a while since Polygot is now maximum at 2 stacks-
    and use it when we have to move like other 2 proc skills giving us even more sustain DPS.
    I totally love BLM on this expansion.

    BLM is in a very good spot yes. RDM is okish. SMN on the other hand (and yet once again...)...

    I dispute BLM being the peak of design. It still has a couple of niggling issues left in it. For instance, it's still too easy to clip oGCDs on fire/blizzard 3 casts, Sharpcast as of level 74 can probably be turned into a passive for Fire 1 now and boost the proc chance of thunder 3, all the QoL changes that arrive post 70 can arrive much sooner, and the elephant in the room, the fire 4 rotation should arrive much earlier in the leveling process than it actually does so players don't get bait and switched.

    But these are relatively minor. BLM is much better now than it was in SB, which itself was much better than it was in HW. Without overhauling the class at this point, there's not much more that can be done to BLM short of upgrading abilities like fire 1 or allowing ley lines to not only follow the BLM but let the BLM cast on the move (yoshi please).

    The class is in a really good spot right now, that much is certain.

    My main beef is with removal of -enmity role actions. Whether in extremes, dungeons or even fates I miss not having them.

    Tbh 99% of the rotations in this game prove that you can have a flawless flowing smooth design while maintaining a level of skill curve to each playstyle.

    No job feels overwhelming difficult and I’d argue on the majority none of them feel too easy.

    I think a refinement on RDM is in order just to give it some more room to optimise and apply a skill curve to but I guess it’s a good option for someone who doesn’t normally dps or to experience new content with. So possibly the reason.

    I’ve tried machinist, bard and dragoon so far and although prolly aren’t the most complicated jobs there, there’s defiantly things there which u can see how u can optimise and things you can learn to get more out of the jobs potiental.

    Shadowbringers has been amazing, and outside a couple of things I think could be changed overall job design across the board has been amazing.

    The devs really did an really good amazing job on BLM.
    They fixed some problems the class suffered like limited mobilty.
    The best change imo is transpose having a 5 sec cooldown.
