Voice lines cut out early in cutscenes

Hello,

I'm working through the MSQ and so far just about every voiced line in a cutscene cuts out early. Sometimes it will be just part of a word at the end that doesn't finish, other times it will be an entire word or more that doesn't get read.

I've searched a bunch and haven't seen anyone else with a similar issue. Any suggestions for workarounds or solutions? It's very distracting.

When did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

What kind of audio device do you use for the game (speakers, headphones, etc.)?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

Thank you for your answer. It still happens in every cutscenes. It seems to be only some ms missing, maybe 100 or 200 at the and of the voiceline. I use cable headphones and the soundcard is a Asus Xonar Phoebus. I do not have any sound issues in other games. My system information is here:

Thank you for the reply Ykterus. I apologize for the delay in our response.

Does this same issue happen with other audio devices, or is it only with your headphones?

For the sound card you are using, have you tried reinstalling the drivers or programs for it?

You may also want to try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.
