No thanks. I like being able to find a reasonable price vs. being forced to pay a crafter 500x the cost of mats.

Player : フェアリーのミラプリも作ってるんですか?
(Any plan on Fairies glamour?)
Yoshi'p Sampo: フェアリーはエギではないので、予定がないです。残念ながら。
(Since Fairies aren't Egi so, No.)
The fact you're from Levi puts things into perspective. Not saying you've never been to a lower populated server, but if you did you would know prior to this change, lower populated server's market boards were completely managed by two or three omnicrafters with enough gil to flip and bend prices to their will. If you wanted something you either had to pay the price they were asking, which wasn't cheap, or level a crafter yourself to make it. And you wouldn't even be able to sell it at a reasonable price forever because, like I said, lower pop servers were run by a set of omnicrafters doing whatever they wanted with the markets. However now that changed completely, and it's a better environment for both parties. Back in Stormblood and Heavensward I've seen items vary in price from 200k to 3mil gil across servers, at the very least. And that's not even couting the mounts, hairs, emotes and minions that are unrelated to crafting. No reason to punish someone with their server's market just because they can't create or transfer their characters to a congested one. Hopefully SE will eventually merge all Market Boards into one and the data you see is the same across all servers.

If you want to make money then just price competitively. Say an item sells for 500k on server A, 600k on B and 1mil on C, all you have to do is price accordingly. Sell it at 495k and you are the cheapest accross all the servers, if there are listings close to the best price on your server then adjust your undercut to account for market board tax to be overall cheapest.
If you list stupid higher than the value on other servers then of course you are going to have trouble selling with alot of stuff since people are gonna go where it is cheaper. Of course this is not true on everything, take how i buy for example.
For stuff like crafting mats and other basic items i have a set limit i will pay, if my server has them within that range i will just buy them, not gonna bother server hopping to save a few k gill just isn't worth the time.
If it is not within the range i check other servers to see if i can get it there, if still no luck i go out and gather/farm it. Yeah some of this stuff i could get a bit cheaper elsewhere but for lower priced stuff the time to savings ratio isn't worth it to me.
On the other hand higher priced items, like the onions , the exp chocobo feed and the more expensive glamour outfits, i will check every single server for the prices before buying since in them cases i will save huge amounts if my server is inflated. In that case the time to effort ratio is worth it cuz of how much gil i save.
All you gotta do is list the lower priced stuff reasonably but not needing to match all servers for it to sell, for the pricy stuff check around and match competitively and you can sell your stuff no problem.
You just can't gouge anymore cuz if someone see's your listing of a rare item or hard to craft item or a hq needed quest item and it is the only one, they will just think 'not buying off that gouger i'll check the other servers' instead of how it was when it was a case of 'this price is a joke but if i really want this item i got no choice'

How so? Why?
Not sure why a you think a communist would occupy any thought that i have save for the butt of a joke.
She really does need to talk more though. When this whole political thing falls through when she runs more jobs out of her area comedy can be her back up.
All that being said only one post in here retorted my point at all. The dude that did (The multi degree having "businessman") got dunked on so hard he decided to not post to me again.
I'm going to call this thread closed and will simply exploit the current system to raise prices further. Thanks for everyone's time.

After reading the responses and reasons the topic creator came up with, I conclude that I'm fine with the cross-server market board functions as they are.

You obviously have no clue how free market works people demand the product they get the product form the most affordable source that source provider makes the money and nobody else does in turn said provider finds a cheaper more effective way to be able to provide thier product usually by becoming thier own supplier or making freinds with a supplier supplier provides goods for creation at a fair price to the crafter and the crafter make smore profit even while provider makes a pretty fair price for thier goods to the provider just because someone has moments of stupid greed and thinks they're gonna get more for a product they tend to find that they're the ones who screwed themselves while original provider continues to rake in profits.
