Why is the Eden striking gear palette-swapped healer gear?

Was this a mistake? The Eden striking gear is literally healer gear in appearance. The healing set is exactly the same, just white. If any other job got that, it seems like it would be more appropriate for casting or aiming.

The aiming gear looks like it was meant for striking gear instead, and at least the "healer" gear that striking got would make sense for a dancer to wear.

It would be nice if striking could just get a single tier where their gear didn't look like garbage for the jobs it's supposed to be used for. I wouldn't be running around in a dress trying to fight as a monk, it makes no logical sense.

Yeah, but striking jobs and casters aren't even remotely the same aesthetic-wise. Casters should have gotten them, not monks and samurai.

Nope nope nope, I would have thrown up in my mouth a bit if casters were stuck with those. I'm glad us casters weren't handed the short end of the stick for one in terms of gear. I'm so sick of robes and dresses.

Honestly I’m just waiting for the armor contest winner to arrive and just glam into it. It obvious SE keeps catering to the female side when it comes to armor pieces

I think the logic there is that if they keep producing gear that will be attractive only to a much more niche audience, even if only loosely along gender lines, with nearly the same frequency as far more broadly (and perhaps deeply) attractive design concepts, there's likely a quota or other form of bias at work.
