A Safe Place to Hide

Just wanted to bring some attention to the fact that the level 63 scholar quest A Safe Place to Hide requires the player to use lustrate in a non-combat situation, which is quite inconvinient if you don't have a stack handy, especially given that this occurs in a level 30 area, so it's quite hard to get into combat without the thing dying in the span of the gcd before aetherflow becomes available. I navigated this by attacking one thing while standing on another, so the second attacked me in solidarity, but it was unnecessarily clunky. A simple fix would be to have the quest require an adlo instead. (Or, you know, make aetherflow accessible outside combat).

I know it goes against everything you're trained to do, but just run up and hit a nearby mob with your book to get into combat.

Yes, it's annoying, and not being able to aetherflow outside of combat is anti-fun, but smacking things with a book spine and laughing in their face is pretty boss.

Still a major oversight that people HAVE to do that now.

I know it goes against everything you're trained to do, but just run up and hit a nearby mob with your book to get into combat.

Yes, it's annoying, and not being able to aetherflow outside of combat is anti-fun, but smacking things with a book spine and laughing in their face is pretty boss.

I do get a good chuckle everytime I boop a low level mob just to charge my aetherflow gauge. XD

As summoner, it is a bit of a pain to precharge this way, but it's really not much skin off my back.

Still a major oversight that people HAVE to do that now.

While it's not that much of a deal, I still can't really disagree here. Not much we can do but work within the system.

I tried to do this quest today, but even though I tried this workaround solution, the game still wouldn't let me cast lustrate on Setoto even though I targeted her. I just cast it on myself instead... Did they somehow manage to screw the quest up even more after this maintenance?

They just changed what you need to cast today because of this very issue.

If you picked up the quest prior to maintenance, and it still tells you to cast Lustrate, you may need to abandon the quest and start again to get the right version now.

Oh really? But I picked it up today just an hour or so ago :/ I'll try to abandon it and start again next time I play.
