Launcher system error -2146697211 HHTPS system error

Hello, got this error popping up today when I for the second time tried to start the game. First time there was no problem (think there was a tiny update to the launcher/game this morning if I remember right too - maybe it's related?) then I turned off the PC and then on again later to log back in to the game and now this error pops up. It happens too on my laptop so doesn't matter what PC I use.

I've googled the problem and tried changing various settings for IE without any luck that I found my way to through different troubleshoot posts on the forum/other webpages. Restarted the PC, restarted steam, resetted my router and still nothing. Tried to reinstall the game and nothing there either. Tried to run the launcher as admin didn't help either. Also tried to cancel all processes in the Task Manager in the Start tab on start up without that making any difference. Is it my router? Is it the game patch? I don't know what to do now.

Okay found the solution to my problem: Adding https://frontier.ffxiv.com/ to the list of trusted pages in the IE browser.

I can't delete my post though so just decided to add my solution at least if others had the same problem.
