    Male Roes with Hrothgar Proportions

I usually gravitate towards the big guys in games. Male Roes seemed like the perfect match for me and I played through ARR to SB as a Hellsguard. Though I liked how he initially looked, over time I came upon the same issue a good deal male roe players have in that while some outfit options look good, others have some really bizarre clipping or make you look like a weird inflated man with a small head.

When Hrothgar were leaked, I was excited. Even with them being lion men, I still found myself anticipating them for another chance at a "big guy" race in the game. However, with issues like not having access to most helmets and hair options being tied to face really killed the appeal for me.

However, one thing I noticed is that Hrothgar, when not hunched, have really great proportions. You'll see them standing upright as guards at the Crystarium or as quest givers around Norvrandt. Since then, I really wish they would allow a physique option for male roes to have Hrothgar proportions, seeing how they share the same animations (especially noticeable in how they wield axes and lances). I really grew accustomed to my Roe's face, even the dog-nose paint has it's charm now. I know this would be really out of the ordinary for new customization options in this game, but I'd love if male roes got some love to help make them more palatable to people who are concerned about proportions and giving them a physique option that hews closer to their female counterpart with regards to proportions.

To add onto this I would really love it if they made Hrothgar stand up right when using Try On. It's so annoying trying out gear but you can't get a nice and clean look at it due to their hunched posture.

That's essentially a new body type and Yoshi has said that he'd rather make a new race entirely than offer an existing race a new body shape, cos the workload is pretty much the same.

It really isn't a new body type seeing how Hrothgar are already modded Roe body types. I wouldn't be surprised since the word about being no more new races (maybe?) that perhaps more "subraces" will be added with jumbled features from other races.

I agree that we should have a body type slider. One thing that Guild Wars 2 has over FFXIV is the ability to change the type of body your character has. You could be tall and slendy, short and stocky, and anything in between. You can even be curvy or chunky instead of the usual sickly-skinny.

Yeah, I'm not even talking about a series of precise sliders for every body part, just at least two to three presets (that could reuse models already in the game).
