Fairly new WHM/SAM looking to overcome obstacles

Hello everyone,

After playing FFXIV for a month when A Realm Reborn came out and the game not clicking, I have picked it up again about a month ago to finally immerse myself in my first MMO.

Starting as a Conjurer, I worked my way up to White Mage (level 70) and I dig the responsibilities to the group that the class calls for. Switching it up, I also got into a DPS class with the Samurai job. There I am close to level 70 as well (my current level cap, as I haven’t finished Stormblood yet). Sometimes I do miss more of a co-operative experience—playing with randoms feels not as immersive as a dedicated group of fellow companions would feel, I suppose.

While I have managed to beat most content until now—thanks to some helpful random co-opers—the Binding Coil of Bahamut turn 5 is a very different beast. Despite watching a couple of videos and reading strategies on the fight against Twintania, this instance calls for coordination and less errors than previous bosses. After a very educational session of getting my butt handed to me, I decided to see if I could find a group of people willing to help me with this fight.

So, to cut a long story short, I want to try out this Free Company aspect of the game to (i) get more co-op and learn from people, and (ii) better coordinate myself and a group of willing players to difficult obstacles (right now Coil T5, but I am sure more difficulties will rear their heads).
