New Starter Edition player/bought the membership afterwards

I am a new player and I am wondering am I supposed to get some in game items for purchasing the starter edition and also being a member? Will I not see it until my 30 day membership starts?

You get veteran rewards as soon as the time is applied. So if you're on a regular, recurring subscription, when that subscription is charged you'll get the rewards. If you buy a timecard, when the timecard is applied to your account you receive the rewards.

Note that if your mailbox is full, it may take a day or two after you clear your mailbox before you receive the rewards.

The initial 30 days that are included with the purchase of the game don't count towards veteran rewards (though I'm not entirely sure why not since in every other way they're time actively subscribed). It only counts when you make a separate payment that's just for renewing the sub.
