The devs always use the (BuT MuH lOrE) argument every single time someone asks for adjustments. I still don't see my ass slider for female avatars being brought back from 2.0. What makes you think they'll just up and adjust height and add another all-female race like the Feo before they decide to add male viera and female hrothgar?

Devs: You're right, it's not like our knees weak arms are heavy there's vomit on his sweater already moms spaghetti code in this game and wanted to backlog 700+ pieces of armor that would require height adjustments, as well as mounts (which is well over 30).

Do you know anything about programming coding? Do you know how difficult is it to work with crappy spaghetti coding over an old system with new features?

Other than scrapping the whole game to allow these changes, most of them are limited. Why do you think we only have a certain amount of glamour plates or inventory? Also, I want to add that PS4 slows down any progression limits (just like the old argument of "PS2 limitations") back during XI and Xbox 360/Windows 7 PC's. If this was exclusive to PC, and they decided to scratch the entire game as a whole without leaving a trace of legacy anywhere, maybe we COULD have more of these little things or big changes. But until PS4 sees the door (which it won't), expect there to be limits and strains in the departments, Squeenix business model taking away developers from FFXIV to work on their other Squeenix products, and no additional races added (or butt sliders) adjustments aside from the hair styles with minor updates.

Any road, there's still gonna be limitations on certain things, and most of it will still contain coding issues or limitations on platforms. With squeenix pulling devs away from ffxiv to market and developer their upcoming titles (including FF VII remake they're hyping up), outside of the devs making small work of things like glasses, height adjustments or sliders (already removed) aren't gonna be coming anytime soon. Most likely won't happen before they add another race to the game or opposite sex at least.

Let me give you a technical reason. Some mounts have fixed size regardless of the races using them (e.g. Whisper a go go and Regalia). Roe's and Hrothgar have a different sitting pose compared to a lalafell or a midlander. If the height slider was to have drastic difference, these poses will look wrong on the race. They most likely already ensure that the minimum and maximum heights will fit on these mounts without issues.

Scaling the mounts would not work in the case of multi seat mounts and changing the pose of the race to another race in that height range would cause more people complaining about it.

More like they want to keep with the lore of the race, and that their height is perfectly fine to start with. I have the shortest Viera, and I wouldn't want her any shorter.

Are you really thinking somebody would be forcing you to make your character shorter?
