Cool. So I expect you'll be too busy doing Savage to attack "casuals" for enjoying the game, at least.
Except for the aforementioned Ultimate fights, which you haven't done, right?
Yes they've added more casual content and that is the focus of the game. Yes it's been happening for years. Yes it's helped to make the game popular and it's popularity is growing, not shrinking. That's Final Fantasy XIV. Sorry.
And here lies the rub. You've run out of content to do because what the game, and the majority of those who play it, consider content isn't the same as you.
We actually do have plenty to do. I don't have enough hours in the day for the game and I'm one of the lucky ones who is married to someone who also plays the game.
Have you ever considered that there may actually be quite a few people "getting what they want" from this game? Maybe it's just not the game you want it to be? Maybe another game is? Maybe it's WoW? Maybe that's ok too?
And from what we're seeing by subscription numbers, most would be inclined to disagree. Which barometer of public opinion do you think SE cares about most?
Here's the shocker. End game isn't entirely Ultimate. Casual players LOVE to rest on the statistics for Ultimate because only a small percentage of players are able to successfully complete it. End game is also, Extreme's, Savages, Palace of the Dead Style dungeons. They are not the same. They are not as difficult as one another. To discredit a raider entirely, for not being able to do one small portion of the limited end game content we have, is incredibly short sided. I wouldn't discredit a casual player for choosing not to do chocobo breeding for example. Not all end game content is the same in the same way that not all side content is the same.

I'm not "attacking" anyone for enjoying the game or the content they choose to do.

Yoshi P has said himself, more raiders and coming to the game. The game as you've said, is increasing in popularity and its numbers. Why aren't even these funds being attributed to the type of content the growing portion of the players enjoy?

Thats great that players like you have plenty to do. But it stands to reason why you wouldn't want anything to change. You're getting exactly what you want.

Perhaps if you spent less facetiously saying "Sorry" and more time comparing and examining how little the other side has despite the games increased revenue, you might be more inclined to understand a little better.
