Lack of End Game Content

You know, I had a snarky reply to all of the people wanting nu-WoW systems put into FF, but I'll actually answer the question honestly.

At this point, I honestly have more than enough content to do and I don't even plan on doing savage (would like to, but that's a whole rant instead of a quick response).

Why?

I have other games I wanna play. Fire Emblem comes out soon, I have octopath to start at some point when I need a break from FF. Monster Hunter's probably gonna get a few releases here in the next 6 months. FF8 remaster/remake, Rune Factory 4 and 5, the list can go on and on.

Now between the normal 8 man, 24 man, tomestone capping, and relic weapon for the 2 classes I plan on playing. That's a lot of stuff I'm gonna have to do while still trying to play another game. If I could find 5-6 other people who wanted to raid with me and my only friend who plays consistently, I doubt I'd be able to find a break. Not to mention if I had a static that EX trials are now on the table. And as much as I really want to, I'm fine not doing it once the expansion ball starts to roll. Not to mention, I'm technically NEET status right now. I could only imagine trying to fit in FFXIV while having a job.

Though I guess for people with good statics, story skippers, and twitch streamers that can do things instantly whenever they please you sure will run out of end-game content fast. Most people aren't like that, I'm not and I play for 18+ hours a day.

How is it entitlement to enjoy what I have before me?

Minus the sentence I was going to add and forgot about; People who skip the story (took me 5 days with sleep, watching every cutscene and never wiping in MSQ instances), people who have a really good static raid team and clear content with minimal wipes, and twitch streamers who have people doing everything they can to help them clear content run out of stuff to do fast.

Where in the actual world is the entitlement?

You assuming what the "majority" wants and it being tailored arround that is entitled.
Its like i would say "well movies should only last 40 minutes and they should not be releasing that many because i have to watch so many!"

I didn't say anything about how something should be. I stated I liked the current formula and why I did, maybe try not skim-reading through posts before you reply.

And strawmanning? You quoted a particular part of my post and I asked a legitimate question about what in the actual hell you were referring to.

The only thing I assumed was there's a lot of people in similar shoes as mine, people who haven't run out of content because of various reasons. And I'd more than likely be correct considering majority of this thread is people saying they haven't run out of things to do.

Making that assumption isn't entitlement, if anything at most it could just be a biased estimate or assumption. But that's all it would be, there isn't anything entitled about my post. If anything the OP and the ones of his mind are the ones entitled, but even then I loathe to even assign that label since wanting something doesn't always equal entitlement. Stomping your feet, demanding it through strong arm methods like reputation attacks, petitions, and government force are.
