with all respect you forgeth about a few things, first of all blood weapon/delirium and the entire resource management, DRK lost all his speed in a harsh way at the same time the resource management has been reduced considerably, we no longer generate the same amount of MP and blood so our focus changes from resources to GCD aka our single combo and fit 5 GCD in each buff window wich remember way a lot to WAR playstyle.

the aoe rotation change from TBN to get blood for quietus to get mana to spam AD until TBN is back with a few oGCD in middle like DA making the execution more active that current one, now you are stuck with 1-2 combo until you have enough for quietus and use a casual flood waiting to use blood weapon/delirium aka again the same WAR stuff.

you can argue DRK gameplay still focus on the same stuff witch i partially agree but the problem is the execution of the skills changes notably, eliminating all the choices, yes cave and spit was always with DA on single target, on aoes was to recover MP, it's way better that don't have any choice anymore, same with old delirium (the HW one) now we are stuck in 1 single target combo, the structure of DRK changes a lot with way less resource management and more GCD buff windows dependant with a lot of fillers that are independent and don't even interact with you buff windows aka AD, carve and spit, edge/flood, salted earth and living shadow.

for no mention old DRK didn't never have the great downtimes the job suffers now, you always was doing stuff manage something, preparing for something, reacting fast, quick choices ect, GNB kinda mimic this play stile since the job have minuscule downtimes so you always feel busy doing something wich remember old DRK playstyle feeling, at least it's how i feel.

in resume as a DRK old main that like SB version (not as much as HW but still like it) when i play the job i easily see how my brain have to focus on complety diferent stuff that didn't before and the stuff i was use to focus on has been nerfed or removed, current one is so straight forward and have little stuff to keep atention i mostly get boring watching the boss waiting to have some action wich i don't like.
