    Suggestion: next quest location

We all have it in our journal, "your next (blabla) quest will be available from (your usual npc) at level X."

    BUT WHERE???
Why cant it also say the location? Not asking for exact coords, just the area is enough, but pleaaaaaase, the last quest sometimes doesn't say where you last saw your npc, and since we're making everything clear and more visible, why not this??
We got a special element added, a gadget if you may, that shows our next story quest, well, I'm not asking for another thing to clutter our screen, just this:

"Your next whatever quest will be available at level xx from whoever IN JEUNO"

    Thank you

When the next quest becomes available, there's a clickable link below your MSQ guide.

You see the second line of that feature, it's the job quest.

    Ok I'll try again.
How about the journal, under completed quests, when it mentions when the next quest is available and who the issuing npc is, also tells you where that npc is?
Also Legion, which second line? Where?

I understand your question. The game assumes you remember where the last quest step ended and the journal does not state that. This may be fine for main job quests at start of expansion cycle they are in their original starting location. But if you get halfway through a quest line and stop playing that class it can be easy to forget.

We don't need the feature you're asking for because there's already a clickable link to your next job quest when it becomes available.

Having it written in the journal itself would not hurt as the poster says. I have not yet reached 80 yet but I don't recall on any other job quest there being any kind of popup for where to get the next job quest. Your highlighting the MSQ reminder, but that disappears once there are no more main story quests. If I had stopped doing gunbreaker or dancer quests at 63 and did not return until next year, would I remember their waiting in Uldah? I doubt the main scenario quest would care about that. I think that is what the poster is asking for is just clarity in journal of where the NPCs for unaccepted ongoing quests are located.

At least the information is available in-game. It wouldn't hurt to duplicate it in a more obvious spot, though.

If you don't have the MSQ guide showing, not everyone will think to turn it on when what they're looking for is a job quest rather than a main scenario quest. Of course, not everyone will think to check their last completed quest in the journal, either, but having the information both places would increase the chances of people finding it in one or the other.

So it'd still be a nice to have improvement, even if it's less necessary than it was before the MSQ guide was added.

It can disappear, if you configure it to do so. But you can also turn it back on if you want. (In fact, Rongway's image showed it with all MSQ quests complete.)

There are three main reasons why I'd like this information to be in the journal, since the game tells you anyways to check there when you complete a quest for the next one.
One, screen cluttering. I try to keep my screen clean with only relevant info to show, hence i dont even display things like gil or inventory tabs. About relevant info you might say "well this quest gadget is relevant" IF only it displayed the full info, which brings me to reason number 2.
That gadget displays one of your next job quests. I play at least one of each role, how can i see both bard and dancer?
Reason number 3, the journal is the place where all your info should be together. Thats what a journal is for. You see the things you've completed, the story and steps, people involved, etc. So, why is the location of the next quest not there? If the widget knows where the npc is, why doesn't my journal tell me?
