    Any Parsing on Attack, Strength, and Vit for Warriors?

    I had a question for you Warriors out there. What build is the best for Warriors?

    I currently have the following equipment

    Axe: Ifrit's Axe
    Head: AF
    Body: Colbalt Haub (double melded to +70 crit potency)
    Hands: Cobalt Hands (triple melded to +53 attack power)
    Legs: AF
    Feet: AF
    Belt: Explorer's Belt
    Neck: Explorer's Necklace
    Ring: Electrum +1 & Explorer's Ring

    Should I continue to go the attack power build or should I stack up on strength? Are there any parses out there??

    Many parsers out there, check ffxivpro recent threads for the newest link.

    From Kaeko's testing it seems "DMG Mods" soft cap at 280, however with WAR its a little different. Being that your primary mod is STR which also has a direct effect on ATK power.

    So ideally you'd want to cap your VIT at 280, then focus on balancing ATK power/STR/Acc (Acc for Antling, or Marshall, etc zergs).

    caps were raised, I have 360 vit on my war, a noticeable difference from when i had 320, im not sure were it caps at now, I could be well over the cap.

    edit: i know str should be the ws modifier but when i did some parser testing i got increases in ws damage with vit and str. the increases with str where higher.

    VIT is the ws modifier.

    Hmm seems like I need to parse a VIT build vs STR build.

    I still cannot see VIT out parsing STR on WAR anyhow.

    We have no updated information post patch, so I'd stick to parse results, and just plain gut feeling until then. HA

    Pretty sure ONLY the attribute cap for weaponskills was raised, not sure if VIT was a modifier for any of them though.

    Right, VIT is just an auto attack mod. Hence why STR/ATK build after the 280 cap (Which is laughable) is ideal.
