To me it seems like the first part of the series was meant to set up the rest. The next bit will probably be filled with more FF 8 things, or at least I would think so.

If Leviathan and Titan are going to be a thing, I expect Garuda, Shiva, Ifrit, and Ramuh to be fights as well. Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, Fire, Lightning...
