RDM gear doesn't really fit either. It's a result of basing gear off of roles rather than jobs. It's a necessary evil to having so many jobs balanced against having limited gear design.

imo best solution all around is to create blank armor with stats tailored to specific job needs have these blank items drop at random in dungeons/raids, then dump a slew of attractive, interesting, and fun level 1 glamour pieces in game, have them drop from fates, raids, dungeon bosses, ect ect ect. There you go the real endgame in the main game, want to have nice things? Well you can go out and get them. Then SE doesn't have to see us complain about how this crap looks all the time. Get your blank gear then glamour them how you like, if there's a glam out there you want go hunt it, craft it, kill for it. And would somebody please get Yoshi P on the right track? It seems he never gets what it is we're actually asking for so when he answers questions he comes off a little misinformed and way off target.
Speaking of the contest, I reeeeally wanted this entry to win (>_<):
I wish they would implement it at some point, though I know this will probably never happen![]()

I wish DNC shared gear with NIN, honestly. Especially because to me DNC just feel like a deadly, ninja-esque performer anyways. In my head the type of dexterity/finesse dancer needs is the same a ninja would, which is definitely not the same type of dexterity/finesse bard and machinist give off. You have to be melee to aoe and stuff anyways, just give me my scouting gear already.
DNC would feel better suited to be a scouting set, aesthetically speaking.
I'm tired of everything being a gown or half dress covering my legs. Even tanks get stuck with huge gowns..
