Bump! Haven't posted in a while due to school and IRL stuff so our apologies for that. We are still recruiting so feel free to reach out to us in game or here if you have any questions!

Hi! I am super interested in your FC because you are so open about what you expect, and put out a warm and welcoming atmosphere. So often I will get spammed with FC invites while playing and it makes me feel nervous to accept because I don't know enough about the people involved. After reading through the original posts here, and also perusing the website, I would like to apply! A quick caveat though; I work a minimum of 40 hours a week, often more than that, up to and over 60 hours sometimes. I also work third shift at the present moment, with the possibility of moving shifts coming up in the future. That means that I would be the most active in-game during the week (albeit intermittently) in the afternoon or early evening, and on the weekends in to the wee hours as I keep the same hours on the weekend as I do during the work week so as not to throw myself off. I also have a family, and that is appropriately my priority. I only say this because I'm always nervous to join a FC and then have them be perturbed that I'm not on as much as they may like. I don't want to clog up a spot someone else could fill if they were more active.

All that being said, if limited time in-game is okay with you, I would love to go further in the process of joining up. I understand the rules regarding a need for socialization, and I could always stay active in Discord through my phone even if I can't be actively playing. Sorry if this is all a bit messy and stream of conscious. I'm at work right now actually, and trying to get this written as quickly as possible during a break. Hope to hear from you soon either way! I am definitely interested in your FC, however have many questions. Just to note to your recruiting I have been through some FC on Brynhildr an d so far the only content they were doing was current end game and also very cliquey.

Question 1; Do you do regular dungeon and raids as FC or just certain groups within the FC?

Question 2: How often is an officer on during the week in case of questions or needed help?

Question 3: You have a probation period of sorts, Do you notify the player if they do not fit with the FC or do you just boot them?

Question 4: I text in chat quite a bit not big fan of discord as im on a PS4 and have to use smart phone to access discord, Is it required to use discord only for communication or can I use in game chat?

Question 5: What, if any, events do you participate in beside maps?

Question 6: Is it possible to become an officer after a set period of time?

Question 7: Is there any donation requirements like gil or material etc..?

Question 8: Do you have a code of conduct?

Question 9: When doing raids, Do you preplan ahead on roles and dates for said raid chosen?

Question 10: Most important question Do you play for fun or for some other reason?

Questions

Hello! Thank you for sharing your questions!
I'll be responding all of your questions in order.

Question 1 - We do both! This includes daily roulettes, raids, and mount farms! Though, in regards to raids, we don't do any of the end game content like Savage and such.

Question 2 - We have an officer on at least once a day. Once again, it depends on the time of day but I believe there is always an officer that logs on daily.

Question 3 - We do have a probation period. In regards to inactivity, we allow members to stay within the fc for a month before we remove them. We only remove them if we don't get any notification at all whatsoever. However, if you have to take a hiatus, we do want our members to let us know so we can still keep you within the fc until you are able to come back. The main thing that we want of our members is communication and as long as you let us know of any inactivity, that's all we ask. I hope I was able to explain that properly!

Question 4 - I am on the same boat since I am on PS4 as well. We do expect activity within the game and on discord. Reason is because we use discord as a way to keep members posted with events and such and for us to build a social hub for our fc members to interact with each other. That said, we're not expecting people to chat constantly on discord but our minimum is to post at least twice a week in the discord.

Question 5 - We do mount farms as well and FATE farming parties in the new areas of Shadowbringers. We are trying to plan more events such as POTD/HOH. We also run casual dungeon runs if people need clears too - we stress on helping people out in need.

Question 6 - Yes, definitely. Responsibilities as an admin aren't too crazy since we want admins who help with just maintaining activity. But that can be a conversation we have another time.

Question 7 - Definitely not. We do have an airship that we are slowly working on but it's not required. It's mainly for people who want to help out if they feel the need to.

Question 8 - We do, which is covered in our Discord Server Rules.

Question 9 - We generally don't preplan roles but for dates, yes. We try to make the announcements for any sort of event as early as possible. If we don't get enough people to fill up, we usually put up a party finder to find the rest of the roles needed.

Question 10 - I think all of us within the fc play for fun, haha. I am confident in saying that since a lot of us are people who have families and such so everyone is playing FFXIV to have fun and destress since IRL stuff can be hectic. We're a cozy bunch and we want people to have fun as well.
