    FFXI required you to be a WHM to teleport... and you could not change jobs once you did. That inability to change jobs in the field does not exist here, so it makes things a lot easier: Change to WHM, teleport, change to job you really want.

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with the way Anima/Teleport works now. I play a fair bit, do a fair bit of content, and even 'rush' a bit when patch came out. Sitting pretty at over 80 anima, thank you kindly.

    If someone is running out of anima, someone needs to re-consider how they use it and find an alternative.

    (Side note: How many people teleported to Cutter's instead of chocobing there?)

    How can you say that when Viion's main point was directly related to how FF11 did it.

    This isn't about copying the way other games do it, its about making it more user friendly and intuitive.

    There is no harm in everyone having teleport spells if there is a cool-down and a requirement to unlock the destination first.

    I like the ather pass in uldah. I wouldn't mind doing quest for different ather passes that got you camps instead of the current system. I hope in 2.0 they come up with a creative method of travel that may have something to do with GC and quest.
    I would be even more ok with this.
