Let’s be real: Whoever decided it was a good idea to ask that it sound like a blade slashing, I don’t like it. The old Main Combo sounded cooler, especially since you could feel the force behind it with the schwing. It’s a heavy blade, not one like PLD’s.

This is incorrect. the response has been mostly positive.

JP players; idk exactly what was said tho in regards to the old sound, but knowing how se favours their feedback slightly more, it won't be going back to the old sound.

I went to play today and what do I hear? Very muted sounds, I legit checked if my sound was correct, that's how badly muted these sounds are. I don't know why the decided to make this super base heavy but it doesn't sound good. The first combo definitely is not the sound of a blade. It sounds like you are using a baseball bat to be honest.

All the combos should sound like a variation of the new wicked talon. Make keen edge combo sound like wicked talon with a bit more of a steely bite and you have it right.

Can't they just change it for JP servers only? Nobody asked for it here. I don't want to not enjoy the job because of them.
