Arzalis, I agree with you 100%
Arzalis, I agree with you 100%
now i miss the old ones more -.-
Luckily, parsing through the JP side of things with google translate, the majority of opinions there mirrors what's been said.
Explosiveness increase good.
Pool noodle sound bad.
Dull edge strike bad.
Crisp slash good.
Let’s be real: Whoever decided it was a good idea to ask that it sound like a blade slashing, I don’t like it. The old Main Combo sounded cooler, especially since you could feel the force behind it with the schwing. It’s a heavy blade, not one like PLD’s.
Btw....who are those ppl that asked for sound change?!
This is incorrect. the response has been mostly positive.
"I'm so happy SE changed it. it was such a fast change and I'm grateful."
"It went from sounding like a butter knife to a gunblade, SE is amazing for changing it"
"I'm all for this sound because it sounds like there is weight"
"it's completely better than before"
Google translate is not an accurate way to decipher comments.
I went to play today and what do I hear? Very muted sounds, I legit checked if my sound was correct, that's how badly muted these sounds are. I don't know why the decided to make this super base heavy but it doesn't sound good. The first combo definitely is not the sound of a blade. It sounds like you are using a baseball bat to be honest.
All the combos should sound like a variation of the new wicked talon. Make keen edge combo sound like wicked talon with a bit more of a steely bite and you have it right.
If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.
Can't they just change it for JP servers only? Nobody asked for it here. I don't want to not enjoy the job because of them.
