I like doing this as well, but there's been quite a bit of times lately where I get these "mute" groups, no one chats, and it's completely boring. Maybe they were all PS4/controller players... /shrugI always like to turn Praetorium into a bonding experience. Get everyone chatting and riffing during the cutscenes, ESPECIALLY if there is no new player bonus. We've managed to make an amusing outing for ourselves once it's over.
Yes, you can keep chats up during cutscenes.![]()
I see them nerfing exp like they did for pvp because of this rip to that good exp... wish you would have kicked them and not made a whole thread lol

Honestly, both instances just need to be reworked completely. There's not much of a reason for players to run that roulette after its been cleared as many view the experience reward to not be worth the time it takes to clear them.
My thoughts:
Half the enemy health in the dungeons and change it to a 4-man instance. There's no reason currently that any fight in either dungeon needs to be done in an 8-man party. This would allow both dungeons to exist in the 50/60/70 roulette. Which means as well, they should remove the in-dungeon cutscenes. The major story scenes should take place before entering queue into the dungeon and after you leave.
And maybe, since people are running these for experience, you buff the experience reward for the 50/60/70 roulette since it's pretty abysmal as it currently stands.
These aren't hard fixes, but they also to just seem to be low priority fixes.

Boring content, don't act surprised... some of the worst content the game has to offer.

I may even be suggesting something a bit generous. Right now we're watching cutscenes for 500 tomestones of poetics and 100 goetia (if 80). When in reality, we ought to be working for those to begin with. Course I'm not above some item scaling for some other old dungeons for similar reasons.

That's the reason they get the boot.
And it doesn't need be MSQ roulette. Any duty apply.
And any reasoning trying to justify that behavior is nonsense: Who queued a duty for reap the rewards, will play the duty. We all 8 people are there, special snowflakes not allowed.

Love how the goalposts moved from "Unskippable cutscenes are fine. Just go do something else IRL in the meantime" to "You better be watching every second of those cutscenes, because if you're AFK by the time they're done, you're getting the kick"

I don't see that anyone has said this. Just that you should be actively doing the encounter. If people are autoattacking they have noticed the cutscene is over and clicked on the badguy, but they've then gone back to doing other things during the fight which is not cool. It isn't hard to pay enough attention to play when there's stuff to play. The ask here is that if you're going to queue for the MSQ, don't make other people carry you. Missing 10-20 seconds of the fight isn't that bad and I will not vote kick if I see people eventually start to play, but if they're autoattacking through ALL of the fight.. yeah.. I'm going to say something and votekick them.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

Really, just make it skippable if one of these conditions is met and I'm fine:
1. No new players detected.
2. Undersized party.
Seem fair to you guys?

The reward have to reduce accordingly to prevent new players being excluded from those two MSQ.
If not every party will just kick the new player or plainly go PF and leaving new player in queue for ages to force either of those condition
